An important concept repeated in many ways in many things through the school-year, instilling in Students an important sense of themselves, efforts, and their possibilities.
On occasion when we bgan an endeavor that each member of the Class was challenged in, we depicted "The Mountain Climb of Greatness" like this, as each step-in-the-process proceeded.
Whenever anyone "fell" it was always an important TEACHING of Mr. Stathis's that each person always had a chance "to redeem him/her-self," and get another chance to get back on the climb!

In this "Climb" the students were engaged in a very challenging Origami project, trying to successful correctly fold each step from a square piece of paper into a Flapping Bird. Many steps of achieving the correct next fold occur along the way, and students then draw themselves on that step on the Whiteboard diagram, all along striving to reach the top, the perfection of the endeavor! Some fall along the way, some "get a rope thrown to them" from another student on the ledge to assist them, some fall into the water and start all over; and some fall and give-up. Some make it to the top!
